Tierra Whack delivered his EP of three songs last week. Rap? and Pop? For the most part, these books appear to be the first two volumes of a trilogy or ongoing project. Furthermore, Whack has released a new video from Pop? J Melodic produced her latest single, “Body Of Water,” and she delivers the lightning-fast, stream-of-conscious bars she’s known for:
Whack is known not just for her linguistic mischief, but also for her unique and over-the-top visual aesthetic, and she delivers a memorable performance with “Body Of Water.” The clip follows Whack as he meets a young kid, an adult man, and an elderly couple and enjoys a cup of water. Watchers can see bizarre moments such as the kid’s eyes splitting, the man’s hands becoming fins, and the couple morphing into human-dolphin hybrids. The game is worth playing more than once.
It has been three years since Tierra Whack released her critically acclaimed debut album Whack World; the LP features 15 minute-long songs accompanied by a short film of the same name. With the following singles and EPs, we can probably expect an official follow-up not too long from now.
