Last month, ABC premiered Queens, a brand new musical series featuring Eve, Brandy, Naturi Naughton, and Nadine Velazquez as Nasty Bitches, a fictional hip-hop group who reunites for a second chance at fame. There have been many visuals released so far including “Wrecking Ball,” “The Introduction” “Hear Me,” “Nasty Girl,” and last but not least “Heart of Queens,” combined with rapper and “Queens” costar Cam’ron.
Naturi Naughton performs “Love Still Finds Us” at a funeral in the latest video from the show, released today (Nov. 10). In her performance, Brandy plays the guitar in accompaniment as she sings the pain-filled lyrics about staying strong through it all:
Creating music for Queens, Zahir McGee enlisted the show’s stars to perform original tracks under Swizz Beatz’s direction. The storyline of the show involves them once being regarded as one of the greatest girl groups of their generation after they enjoyed enormous success with their chart-topping single, the aforementioned “Nasty Girl.” However, the group experienced internal conflict and jealousy despite their success.
