Central Cee is on the verge of releasing 23. The 15-track body of work will be highlighted by the Pink Pantheress-sampled track “Obsessed With You.” The West Londoner also dropped “Retail Therapy,” which was produced by Nastylgia and Young Chencs. The track uses a sped up version of Hank Crawford’s 70’s song “Wildflower” was the same track that Kanye West featured on Late Registration single “Drive Slow.” The song focuses on Cee and his love interest heading out shopping together as a way to release stress:
In addition to the music, fans can also check out the visual for “Retain Therapy” featuring shots of Central Cee and his crew tearing up the streets of his hometown in search of merchandise, taking over city streets via bicycle taxis, and just enjoying the vibes throughout the day and night.
23 will be released in May following the debut mixtape Wild West, which was released in March and featured 14 infectious tracks. Around 15,000 equivalent album units were sold in the first week of Central Cee’s release, which landed the project at the number two spot on the UK Albums chart. Cee also continued to blow up in 21 with charting singles like “Meant to Be” Stay Flee Get Lizzy and Fredo, “The Great Escape” Blanco and “Little Bit of This.”
