A few months ago, Ne-Yo celebrated 15 years since the release of his debut album In My Own Words with a special deluxe edition. A single called “What If” was released in September. He dropped a brand new song titled “Stay Down” over the weekend, a collaborative effort with Yung Bleu. As Ne-Yo sings in the song, loyalty is essential:
A few months ago, Ne-Yo released a deluxe edition of his In My Own Words album, which included several bonus tracks, including previously exclusive tracks “Stay (Remix),” “Girlfriend” featuring Rick Ross (included on the Japanese edition of In My Own Words), and acoustic live albums of “Sexy Love,” and “So Sick” along with two instrumental albums ( “When You’re Mad” and “So Sick”)
He released his “U 2 Luv” single a few months ago and then released the remix with Queen Naija and Lil Durk a short time later. Last year, he released another new body of work titled Another Kind of Christmas, which brought an early dose of holiday cheer. He released Good Man in 2018 with the singles and “Push Back,” and “Good Man.” He also released an album last year with the song “Scars on Me” which he recorded with Jamaican dancehall artist Charly Black.
