As previously announced, Masego collaborated with Atlanta rappers Big Boi and JID for the track “Garden Party.” This track captures the feeling and vibe of an epic backyard party complete with romance, a dance-off, and a band battle. Studying Abroad: Extended Stay was released earlier this year and is a follow-up to the successful project. We now have the official visual to go along with the track. The video documents their 48 hours in Atlanta, where they first perform in Stankonia Studios while Masego provides the opening lyrics:
The previously mentioned Studying Abroad: Extended Stay features eleven tracks and contains materials from Shenseea, Don Toliver, Shelea, TeaMarrr. Masego’s sophomore album follows his official debut album Lady Lady, which featured Tiffany Gouché, De’ Wayne Jackson, SiR, and FKJ. Over the last few weeks, Masego has provided plenty of assists. He also appeared on the new Ready Is Always Too Late album by Sinead Harnett alongside VanJess for the song “Stickin’.” ‘Sego also teamed up with ELHAE on the track “My City.”
Additionally, J.I.D dropped off his “Ambassel” video last week, and he is preparing for The Forever Story for release later this year. Currently, Big Boi can be heard providing an assist on Goodie Mob’s “Prey 4 Da Sheep”.
