This is part of the promotional run for Isaiah Rashad’s sophomore album The House Is Burning. His peers from Top Dawg Entertainment (SZA and 6LACK) came together on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” performing “Score,” produced by Kenny Beats and featuring 6LACK. The song features the artists talking about a tried and true love interest:
A 16-track body of work, The House Is Burning, marked Rashad’s long-awaited return to the fold, also featuring Lil Uzi Vert, Smino, Duke Deuce, Jay Rock, SZA, 6LACK, Jay Worthy, and more. Despite the low sales of 41,000 album equivalent units, the Chattanooga, Tennessee talent is rated as a critical as well as a commercial success. It has been nearly two years since Rashad’s official debut The Sun’s Tirade hit the shelves. In addition to those 17 tracks, the release featured Kendrick Lamar, Zacari, Lance Skiiiwalker, and Kari Faux. As well as classic singles, The Sun’s Tirade featured “Free Lunch,” “Park,” and “4r da Squaw.”
