A few months back, R&B-lovers were treated to another well-received single from Lucky Daye, Table For Two, which featured Mahalia, Queen Naija, Joyce Wrice, Ari Lennox, Tiana Major9, and Yebba recorded seven songs. Before the year ends, he delivers one more live performance to keep the momentum going. The two worked together with the sounds of a talented live band on the Yebba-assisted cut “How Much Can a Heart Take” to deliver a live rendition of the fan-favorite lyrics:
After releasing his critically acclaimed debut album Painted a couple of years ago, New Orleans singer-songwriter Lucky Daye has returned with a new, 13-track live album. Painted was upgraded into a deluxe edition the following year, including six additional songs and collaborations with MediSun, Victoria Monet, Chronixx, and Babyface.
In addition to his own compositions, he has also contributed his vocals to Masego, Alex Isley, and IDK “Puerto Rico,” Jack Dine “Good & Plenty (Remix),” Adekunle Gold “Sinner,” Sinéad Harnett “Anymore,” Earth, Wind & Fire “You Want My Love,” VanJess’ “Slow Down,” Sevyn Streeter “Feelz,” and Khalid “Retrograde.”
