Cozz shared his new single “Addicted” last night (Nov. 16). The track is a follow-up to his previous track “Fortunate,” which he released just last month. In “vulnerable,” the Los Angeles rapper raps one by one about his vices as he confronts them.
Cozz shared some of his intentions and thoughts about the single prior to its release. A few quick thoughts about my addictions.” Cozz’s revelations are depicted in a meditative and intimate video that shows his abuse play out in real-time as he raps about it.
His last official full-length release was Effected in 2018, followed by Cozz & Effect. As time passed, he was featured on the notorious Revenge of the Dreamers compilations dishing out show-stopping verses. On that set, he works on “LamboTruck” with Reason and Childish Major, along with “1993” with JID, J. Cole, Buddy, EarthGang, and Smino, and more.
